Greetings from the Director

　PointPath-Land (Japanese version) was released on May 1, 2021, when the SARS-CoV-2 delta variant (B.1.617) was raging around the world. The pandemic resulted in a flood of scientific information about infectious diseases, viruses, immunity, antibodies, vaccines, and more. At the same time, the confusion of information had the detrimental effect of distorting and failing to convey correct information. Under these circumstances, "PointPath-Land" has aimed to provide a pleasant place where you can enjoy science and feel at home, based on a careful selection of information about science.

　Starting with the three sites, "COVID-QA"(only in Japanese), "Guidebook for prevention of infection", and "PointPath-Village", joined by "PointPath-CAP (Clean Air Practice)" in February 2022, then we have eventually found a way to bring an end to pandemics and achieve a world free from infectious diseases. It can be done if we all understand, share, and implement an air ventilation approach that stop the virus and bacteria from entering the body.

　Along with these, we have developed an innovative APP, CAP-AI, based on Mikawa-Kase-AQIP-model to estimate infection risk intensity from CO2 concentration and ventilation levels. CAP-AI could be a very useful tool to optimize indoor air quality and prevent infection.
　Therefore, we have launched a new “CAP-AI” site in PointPath-Land, which anyone can use free of charge via smartphone or PC.
　It is with a great pleasure that we release new English version PointPath-Land to you in the world.
